Various Link Artists, Vol. 2/11
some nice web-stuff (local file access, univesal data apis) plus security tools (android map, nat-traversal); also, the odd video ;-) last, but not least, really cool paper on reinforcement learning with interaction.
## Web Stuff
* Two cool hacks by the always interesting David Humphrey:
* The Joys of Same-Origin Files Access, where he just drops a cool audio wave form visualization, as a demo for drag'n'drop file access in the browser
* Unicode Animation in HTML
* OData as the Web's uniform data API? -- I particularly liked the common query language.
## Sweet Video
* Sesame Street's iPogo does anything
* Live-view from the ISS. I understand this is not always working, depending on downlink capacity and such. Check out NASA's Multimedia Index for more info.
## Machine Learning for the Real-World
* Marc pointed out work by Brad Knox on interactive learning with reinforcement learning methods
-- I did a partial summary
## Tools
* JavaConnect, a seamless Java Bridge for SmallTalk. Works by sending message between two running VMs -- not as direct as Scala, but still nice. via @SergeStinkwich
* Samy's AndroidMap looks up where you AP is
* PWNat connects two machines, both behind NATs without external infrastructure
